Join our global supporters and get involved to help the people of Burma – Myanmar:
Come with us to Burma – Myanmar. We’re delighted to share news about upcoming Partners Asia donor trips to Burma. On a typical trip, our supporters might visit cultural sites, meet our local partners and local people (our friends!) and visit the community-led humanitarian projects we support. Our next available trip is a Dharma Journey that will include teachings with Jack Kornfield and a rare opportunity for a personal meeting with Daw Aung San Suu Kyi. Past trips have focused on Myanmar’s rich — and endangered — birds and biodiversity; and taken travelers on a unique bicycle journey to villages, along winding rivers, past local open-air markets, temples and caves. For details on past trips click here; for more information on the Dharma Journey, please contact us.
Donate. Consider making a donation to support the amazing community work of the locally led groups with which we partner. Together we can all make a difference, supporting our local partners’ work with vulnerable girls and women, migrant workers and impoverished villagers.
Host a Delicious Fundraiser. You pick the place, time and invite a fabulous group of friends. We’ll provide a yummy Shan Tomato Salad recipe, fact sheets—and brochures about what’s going on in Myanmar and how to help. For more info, please email us at email@example.com.
Receive our occasional informative emails. You can keep up with our work by adding your address to our email list. We don’t send many emails and we don’t share your contact information. Take a look at our e-newsletter from winter 2012-13 to learn more about where and how we work. To sign up, send your address to firstname.lastname@example.org.
