Dear Friends,

Our partnerships are achieving life-changing successes amid tumultuous upheavals for the communities we support in conflict-affected and remote areas in Myanmar and Thailand. We couldn’t do this work without your support and we are so grateful.

This is a moment of transition for Partners Asia. Eileen Moncoeur, who has served as Partners Asia’s Executive Director for the last six years and under whose leadership we have become a truly thriving organization, will soon take up the executive directorship of the Hospital & Rehabilitation for Disabled Children in Nepal. Maintaining a new role as Senior Advisor, it is our great fortune that Eileen will continue to be a tireless contributor to our team.

Please join me in welcoming Patty Curran, who will become Partners Asia’s new Executive Director as of March 1st. Patty has spent her career focused on leading social justice and business ethics efforts. She lived and worked in Cambodia over 15 years, contributing to the fight against landmines and supporting community groups to build skills and resilience across Asia. With a move to Myanmar, she served as Trocaire’s Country Representative, Telenor Myanmar’s SVP and Head of Sustainability, and most recently as PeaceNexus Foundation’s Regional Programme Manager. We feel certain that Patty’s experience and deep expertise in Southeast Asia will leverage our many achievements and lead us in the next phase of our growth.

With Metta,

Hal Nathan, Chairman
